Modern education is rocked by cyberspace technology. It is blitzing our former ways of learning. The rules are changing . . . the principles remain the same. For instance, in 1965 we were informed that world knowledge doubled every 20 years. in 1995 we were surprised again with the statistic that it now doubles in 4 years. Further, since 2005 information will double every 27 days.
Our problem is not enough information, as much as the need for the right information. Jesus said "Take my yolk upon you and learn of Me." MT. 11:29. Our mission is that of academic excellence in Christ. God said to Hosea (4:6) "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." Mark 12:30 records Jesus as answering when asked which is the most important commandment: "The Lord your God is One; so love the Lord God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence and energy."
